Wondering what to do with you Christmas money? Well ladies, this book is brilliant. It was written by a fellow blogger Laura Howard of Bugs and Fishes - she is a kinda felt fairy too and is really kind and generous. Laura has always been really helpful and very givings with her advice which I have greatly appreciated, this is not true of all felt sellers. One lady felt seller blocked me from reading / following her blog because we both sell felt, I was gutted as I loved reading the blog, WTF!?!? Anyway enough of my breakfast time gossip! Laura regularly features in craft and mainstream mags so you may already know her talent and she is generously sharing her great ideas with us all!!
The books is a really nice size and has 35 simple projects. Chapters include Accessories which includes a purse, brooches and necklaces. Gifts is one of my faves although to be honest every time I turn a page it becomes my favourite! Homewares is full of coasters, tea cosies, and hottie covers. Celebrations has Laura showing off her amazing deccie skills with makes for all types of holidays and celebrations.
Every gorgeous project as clear step by step instructions and for illustrations to, this is great for me as I find that this is the best way to follow instructions! As if that is not enough, turn to the back pages and you will find a really useful techniques section that shows different types of stitches as well as tips and tricks straight from the expert herself!

I love Laura's blog and have followed it for a while. I've linked to her brilliant projects in my Friday roundups, a couple of times.
I'm loving that little bear with the heart and can't wait to get the book. Maybe my first monthly make will be out of it!

Hello Annie,
Having only just discovered the joys of felt I would love to have a look through Laura's pretty book..
I can't believe a fellow felt seller blocked you from visiting Annie....it's outrageous...
Wishing you a lovely Christmas with your loved ones,

Felt is great for a rubbish sewer like me! I follow Laura's blog too - how bizarre for another blogger to block you just cos you both sell felt, gotta protect those secrets eh?

Thank you Annie I received my copy from Amazon today after being tempted by your post and very gorgeous it is too. I am just about to take myself up to bed with it to have a good browse and maybe even decide on what my January make might be.
Just stopping by to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Crafty New Year. Hugs Mrs A.
Thanks for the lovely review, Annie! & for all the kind comments about my book & blog everyone, they really made me smile :)
If you do make things from the book, do drop me a line - I adore seeing peoples finished projects!
Thanks for the review Annie. That is a seriously cute looking book (and I also hadn't come across Laura's blog before, so I will enjoy looking round).
I'm just in time to say 'Hope you have a lovely Christmas'.
PS I've just blogged today about a couple of Christmas tree decorations I made with your felt that I designed so they look like my two cats .... if you're interested :)
Hello my dearest Annie, I wish you a peaceful and happy Christmas, hugs Baukje
