Bag Lady Giveaway to Start A Make A Month 2012...

....yes I am giving away  20 sets of bag handles to be drawn from all those who have joined the Monthly Make for 2012 HERE, you can join us at anytime during the year too! Names will be taken from the linky list on 3rd January so get your name down!

Now you might if you are not are like me and not a great maker of anything that you deem too complicated DO NOT be scared off by the thought of making yourself a bag! Last year I did a post where I made really designer chic bags using tea towels! Yes you hear it right, sod the drying dishes! HERE is the post in question and here are some tasty pictures to tempt you.

The tea towels above and below are by Emma Bridgewater and cost only a fiver which is a bargain for a designer summer bag!

The bag handles winners will receive may differ from these but you will get whatever I have in my stock clearance box. I have lots of circle hoop bag rings so you may get those. The lucky giveaway winners will have no probs with making a bag, I think you could hand sew a bag in less than an hour, particularly if you use tea towels as they are ready hemmed!

Also I want to wish all my lovely bloggy friends a happy, healthy and creative New Year! Love to you all!!! x

I can vouch for the ease of making a bag like this; one of my first ever "grown-up" makes was a bag similar & I still have it... AND IT'S FUNCTIONAL. Amazing. ;)

Happy New Year, I'm looking forward to a crafty 2012.

I'm really hoping to diversify my crafting in 2012 and I think I could just about manage one of those bags, which would come in really useful to store even more crafty stash! Thank you for the giveaway.

Oh what a good idea - I got the perfect piece of fabric as part of a christmas pressie - it would make a great bag :)

What a great idea to use a tea towel to make a bag. Love the fabric design on that top one.

Looking forward to doing a make per month - it will be good to do some other stuff other than papercrafting (well that is the plan anyway!!)

Fab bags who would have known that they started life as tea towels.

Very clever. I would never have thought of making a bag out of a tea towel.

Fab giveaway! I would love to have a go at making a bag! I have used tea towels in a few of my makes already, you can get some lovely patterns and are reasonably priced too! Happy New Year to you! x

I'm in the middle of making a bag from some knitting (a scarf - I'm not a good knitter!) which I was going to give up on until my mum suggested turning it in to a bag

I want to make some tea towel bags too now having seen yours
