I have done a guest blog..

..it is my first time too! My lovely friend Emma at Mimi and Tilly Blog, she really is a lovely lady and her blog is brilliant invited me to write a piece!

My post is the first in a series called SHARE YOUR SPARKLE that Emma has planned. My story is a very personal one and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it xx

Thank you to all the lovelies who left me Facebook messages after my spectacular fall this week! Jack my Scottie had drank a ton of water from his bowl and then in his usual fashion he had dripped a sea of water onto my floor tiles! Smash, I was on my arse in no time... slowly recovering though!

Just read your guest blog post - lovely. I have lots of jewellery from my nan-nan. She was always buying costume jewellery like clip on earrings, then handing it to me :) I also still have some of her nail varnishes! Nan-nan passed away about 13 years ago, but I can't bear to part with them :)

Oh Annie, a fall is always such a shock. Earlier in the Summer I fell flat on my face (having tripped over our youngest son) in the school playground in the morning. There was a huge gasp from the other Mums, a few came over to help but I was more worried about my son I had fallen on. For the rest of the day I felt really shaky. Poor you, I hope you are feeling OK now! Popping over to see your guest post.

Hi Annie, thank you for your lovely comment on my blog post. It took me 7 years to get a firm diagnosis, so I can totally relate to your daughter's and sister's experiences. I'm so sorry to hear they have M.E. It's such a strange illness and the lack of understanding and awareness people with the illness experience makes life so much more complicated doesn't it? Your dissertation sounds amazing! Is it online anywhere for people to read? I find it really sad how hard we can be on our bodies because of our body image being so negative. You are a real inspiration to me Annie. Em x
