Thought I would give this a whirl. I have been fancying it for a while!
A - AgeI am 48! I do not know how this happened! Last time I looked I was 28! I do go to a fabulous beauty salon every 14 days for a facial, microdermabrasion (a bit like sandblasting) and non - surgical face lift! I do not look a single day younger but find the relaxation pretty theraputic! I don't smoke or drink so this is my treat to myself!
B - Bed Size
Super king - it is one of those that has two seperate 3ft 6in matresses; each side acts independantly and vibrates, lifts my legs up and sits me up. It make my life a bit easier as I have a progressive muscle wasting condition!
C - Chore you hate
Ironing! My sister loves it so I pay her - I put the money in a money box so that she has a lump sum to spendthrift!
I really like to keep a clean, tidy and organised house, I am a bit manic! Sometimes I fail and have a major stress out!
D - Dogs
Dogs! I adore dogs! I have never been without a dog in my life! I have a westie called Alfie, a scottie called Jack, another scottie who belongs to my daughter called Lily and a little chihuahua called Betty! Sometimes I have up to eight dogs roaming my home, it is fabulous! I am bemused by people who dislike dogs!
I really hate people who do not pick up after their dogs as it gives all of us a bad name!
E - Essential start to your day
Cup of tea in bed, and then a pint of squash in order to take all my drugs! I have to have my bed made perfectly before I go downstairs!

F - Favourite colour
Black and I adore leopard print!

G - Gold or silver
Gold, preferably with big diamonds! ;-D I love silver too!

H - Height
5' 4" - I use a wheelchair quite often and so my height is often not an issue!
I - Instruments you play
I can play a bit of 'three blind mice' on a recorder! I think we all can! lol!

2 Children, Amy aged 26 and a son William born sleeping 27 years ago.
2 Children, Amy aged 26 and a son William born sleeping 27 years ago.
L - Live
Hatton, Warwick. I live on the site of the Old Victorian Lunatic Asylum - this always makes me laugh as I have Bipolar Disorder = The Lunatics really have taken over the asylum!
M - Mother's name
Cynthia - she is a wonderful, beautiful and clever woman. She had four children by the age of 21 and struggled to raise us. My mother did her Theology Degree at Birmingham University when she was 60!
Caddy - my brother had a speach impediment as a tot and could not say my proper name which is Carolyn! Annie is my middle name!
O - Overnight hospital stays
Two weeks in hospital before my son was born. Two weeks when Amy was born. Various other stays but too many to mention!
P - Pet peeves
Abuse of disabled parking, littering, fly tipping, bad manners, lateness, meanness, selfishness, people who do not poop scoop!
Q - Quote from a film
"I am big, it's the pictures that got small." - Gloria Swanson, Sunset Boulevard.
"Deliberate cruelty is unforgivable, and the one thing of which I have never, ever been guilty of." Blanche DuBious, A Streetcar Named Desire.
"He said, "Whats that?" She said, "Its your dinner. I thought you might be hungry. You aint eaten for three fucking days. You live in here, you might as well fucking eat in here." - Cathy Burke, Nil By Mouth
R - Right or left handed?
Right
S - Siblings
Two Precious brothers, one a year older the other a year younger. One lovely sister four years younger.
T - Time you wake up
8am and then get up at 9am. I do get up earlier if I have to but the drugs I take make me very groggy and I take a while to lose the drug hangover!

U - Underwear
Sloggi pants! Pretty brassiers which I wrestle off as soon as I get home. Do you take your off through your sleeves like me?
V - Vegetable you hate
Broad beans.
W - What makes you run late
Nothing! I have a motto "Always early, never late". I think that if you run late then you are telling the other person that your time is more precious than theirs - it is so disrespectful. My older brother and his wife are always late. My best friend is always late. She regularly leaves me waiting in a pub on my own for 45 minutes. I have now started giving her 10 minutes and I am off! If I can be on time in my wheelchair then how hard can it be for her? Grrrrr!
X - X-Rays you've had
Just had a brain and heart scan plus a chest Xray! Nothing exciting found! lol!
Y - Yummy food that you make
Cookies, soup, kedgeree, cheese and potato pie.
Z - Zoo animal
Not a great lover of wild animal being kept in captivity although I do understand that a lot of the work now is conservation and preservation work which is good Animals look so sad in zoos!
I really love donkeys! I support a charity in Isreal which is run by a former BA stewardess! You don't see donks in zoos though!!
HEY!!!! Are you still awake or have I bored you shitless! Okay its your turn to dish the dirt!

was really interesting reading annie! i was interested to read you live on the hatton site, My Grandmother was a long term paitient there years ago. guess it must run in the family¬!
Amazing what you can learn about someone in an A-Z. I know all about that age thing, at 51 I still feel 28 too. Yes I do take my bra off through my sleeve, hate the things & can't get them off quick enough when I get home, lol. I also love dogs (& cats), not fussed on zoos & as for circuses!
I wanst bored coz I love reading all these will do mine very soon (so I keep saying lol)
Wow this was fab reading! Think I might have to do my A-Z later today! :-) xx
Fascinating! You are one sassy lady and it all adds up now, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. As for the disabled parking, I remember your encounter with a motorcyclist and his son last winter... You are such a minx! Thank you so much for sharing. X
Fabulous post - loved it ::))
I love your new blog design. Something else we have in common, my Mum is Cynthia too!
As always a brilliant and funny post Annie, i'm in the middle of making a leopard print make-up bag at the moment - very glam!!!
enjoy your sunday

Great post. I must do this over on my blog next week, its really interesting getting a look into other peoples lives, your Mum sounds amazing, im at that stage now where im at a crossroads - and I dont know which way to turn, so art for me is a release. Youre looking very elegant by the way!! :)
That was really interesting to read about you, you are a beautiful woman! I love the new blog design, such pretty colours

Fab! I love this. Look at your dawggies...I could eat 'em...
Yes, I whip my bra off through the sleeves...I was only watching Celia Imrie do the same thing on Calendar Girls last night and thought 'Solidarity sisters!' Do girls still do that? It's not another skill we are losing to the modern age is it?!xxxx
Always lovely to find out more about my bloggy friends, may give this a go myself.
Loving the new header!

Lovely to know more about you. Love the new look blog. :) Liz
You've more than satisfied my nosy curiosity. I wouldn't leave you waiting at the pub, park in a disabled spot, or mess up your home!
You and your mum are very glam ladies, you either got it, or you 'aint!
I think I'd feel quite at home at a former lunatic asylum, and your cooking sounds great!

Great post i loved reading more about you. Loved the photo of all the dogs sat on the sofa ;-)) So sorry to hear you lost a little boy your words touched my heart. I have to say i am with you on the Ironing front i hate it with a passion. Enjoy your week ahead. dee xx
Thanks for sharing this it made a great read and I love the pic of your dogs at the top of the stairs, how cute is that! Great new banner too.
Caddy, Carolyn, Annie - I love you! You are my latest love and up to now my blogs usually feature fellers that are my latest lusts. I've now come over all gooey-wooey and its a blooming 'girl'. Need I be worried? I don't think so - Why? Cos you're a flaming super star that's why.
Really love these posts, I will do one someday.
I can remove my bra through several layers of clothes in about 3 seconds flat, I whip it out from under my top with a flourish and a TA DAH! David rolls his eyes lol.
I fking really hate late people too, it's sooo rude! My BF is the same.
Kandi xx
Fab post, really interesting, love the photos especially the dog ones :)
Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!
Great post, gorgeous! Wow, your mum is a stunner! I am impressed at her degree, good for her! I've got a 51 year old student at the moment who has mental health issues and my friend said '51 is way too old to do a degree' so I told her to get over herself! I think it's fantastic. I would have enjoyed my degree far more had I done it later in life. I had too many hang ups when I was younger! xxx
Brilliant reading! These posts are so much fun.xxx
Brilliant, will have to have a go at that myself......x
Simply beautiful...lovely!
Love the new look blog! Its always nice to catch up and find more about people. I hate lateness too, my friend was always running late, grrrr....
No, still awake! In fact I might have to go back and read the best bits all over again..
I'm always early too
Course I'm still awake! I love reading these sorts of things :)
Bleurgh, broad beans. What a pointless vegetable they are.
I really enjoyed reading this post. It was lovely to learn more about you. And, I wasn't bored!!! I think I may do this for a post one day x
I really like your new header and the the polka dot background, it's quite smart! I've been thinking of changing mine for a while...
Have a great week!
Barri xx
Loved it Annie, your mum sounds awesome, and I totally agree on the lateness thing when meeting people, it's infuriating when you're left hanging around like you're not important.
(And yes, I can take my bra off without removing my top!)
What a superb post!! I have to say you clearly take after your mum. She looks amazing!! You are such a character Annie. I dont know but I feel like I do!! You always make me chuckle. Thank you for sharing your A-Z. I must do this too at some point. xx
That was meant to say I dont know you but I feel like I do! Hopefully you realised what I meant. Doh!!
Brilliant and interesting post. I would do one too, but I fear it would be ultra-boring! But I do agree, broad beans are the devil's work.
Love the new template too!

Love the new blog header how did that happen?? did you fancy a change. I also take my bra off through my sleeves as soon as I can there's nothing like feeling "free" is there, Lucey x
Hahaha - laughed out loud at the bra through sleeves bit. I do this all the time, and tend to leave them on whichever sofa I am sitting on at the time - makes me look a bit of a hussy when people come round unexpectedly!
I loved reading your A to Z Annie it really cheered me up...and yes, I take my bra off through my sleeve and just lately I have been going 'Commando'!! Very daring for me. Thank you for your lovely comment about my Nan, I am very tearful at the moment as I know it is going to come sooner rather than later, but then I can't complain I have had her for nearly forty three years. Take care and catch up soon, are you doing Olney?
Love Jo xxx
PS Send our love to Amy xx
You look great! You don't have tons of wrinkles like me! And I just have to ask... what is fly tipping?
First time i've read your blog and I loved it!! All your dogs are wonderful - It is so refreshing to know that their are like minded people out there who are surrounded by millions of dogs!! I'm gona have to do my A-Z now! I'm doing a stall at the Market Harborough Fair for the first time in November and hope you are as I would love to say hello!
Love your new blog face lift. Woke up when I got down to the underwear bit!!!! Riveting reading. Hugs Mrs A. zzzzzzzzzz.
i love the abc style q's and answers, i agree with alot of what you wrote.
i feel old at the school gates im sure some of the mums must of started popping kids out in their teens...
totally agree about lateness one of my old friends which sadly i dont see much of now used to always be late, always with an excuse and id think im never late for you- so i started going home...and then she realised what it was like having the shoe on the other foot...id get phone calls 'where are you'...id be like ive gone, im not waiting more than 20 mins!!.
zoo animals still make me sad, ive been to quite a few zoo;s and the animals still seem so inclosed/unhappy...i know conservation is good, but safari's are such a better idea.
glad you poop scoop, wish some of my locals would 3 weeks running on the same path some owners letting their dog poop on a school route...
need to set up a secret camera hehehe x
pics of ur doggys are sooo cute xxxx
i love your doggies, and i really like the name your brother used to call you! sweet! my dad used to call me floss - i hate it! xx

You really look like your mum! What an amazing sounding woman.
Age is all a matter of whats in your head.
