I am planning to set up a group were we commit to make at least one item every month. Hopefully this will give us all a much needed kick up the butt and might even spur us into a frenzy of mad making!
What could I make you wonder? - Abso-bloody-lutely anything!! Knit, it crochet it, paint it, felt it, sew it, carve it, embelish it, play dough it, scrapbook it, stick it..... The only 'rule' is that you display the group badge in your sidebar and that you post to your blog your handmade item during the said calendar month. It would aslo be great if you uploaded your make of the month to this flickr group here.
Another idea if anyone is game is that during March - it will take me this long to sort out the pattern to email to you all - we could all make a felt Stanley Kidston! You will need to take part in the whole challenge to get the pattern! Of course you might not want Stanley as you March make, its your make!!!

I am currently doing the daily listing club on Folksy with my jewellery, but would love to join this making an item a month using another craft.
I was lucky enough to get a sewing machine for Christmas, so the incentive for me to make something!

I think we can start making as soon as we individually ready ;-D We can then post up our January make / makes as and when we finish them! All January makes to be posted up by the end of January. Those of us in the 'spread the love swap' will be halfway there by the end of January hopefully! lol! love Annie x

Hi Annie, This is my first visit to your blog (directed by the lovely Sian) and I LOVE IT!
I would love to take part in the monthly make and it will spur me on to finish a felt mobile I started for my new granddaughter as a Christmas present! Luckily she is only 6 weeks so doesn't notice she didn't get it on time!
